Our Cybersecurity team recently learned of a situation that may affect your company, and we wanted to inform you. Mosebach(MOSEBACH.COM) takes cybersecurity very seriously, and we are always vigilant about mitigating fraud.

Here’s what happened:

Our Cybersecurity Team detected that threat actors have registered a domain name similar to the MOSEBACH (MOSEBACH.COM)website/email domain. They may be using this domain to send fraudulent emails designed to impersonate MOSEBACH (MOSEBACH.COM) employees. Fraudulent emails may attempt to have the recipient(s) change remittance addresses, click on links, or otherwise engage with the threat actors. 

Please note that the legitimate email address for emails from MOSEBACH (MOSEBACH.COM) have the domain MOSEBACH.COM (Example: MOSEBACH.COM).

·     Legitimate: MOSEBACH.COM (Has an M)

·     Fraudulent: RNOSEBACH.COM (Using RN to imitate the M when it’s lowercase)

Recommendations:

1.   Please do not respond to or click any links if you receive an email from the fraudulent address RNOSEBACH.COM. Legitimate emails will come from MOSEBACH.COM.

2.   Inform your Information Technology department about this fraudulent domain and if possible, ask them to block the fraudulent domain RNOSEBACH.COM.
